As the President of the Iota Chapter of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc., I would like to welcome you to our website where you are able to learn more about the purpose of our organization. Lambdas, as many call us, pride themselves on being professional women who focus on academic excellence and community service through the bonds of sisterhood. In nine states across the nation, being a sister of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. opens up many networking opportunities with our strong alumnae support for undergraduates.
As you may notice, our organization is Latina based, however, membership is open to ladies of all backgrounds without discrimination of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability. I truly encourage you to use this website to see if this is the organization you would be interested in joining one day. Also for friends, interested ladies and alumnae, do not hesitate to look at our calendar to see how the Iota chapter continues to demonstrate our motto of "Learn. Love. Our Purpose
The purpose of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. shall be to open doors of opportunity to the Latinas of our community. Our primary focus is academic excellence and meeting the needs of Latina women in higher education. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. also promotes the advancement of Latinas through various campus activities and community services, and provides an environment for personal growth within a unit of Sisterhood. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. priorities, however, will be placed upon academic excellence and community service.
