Academics
Academics is one of the most important pillars of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. We act as a support system to one another to get us through the challenging times we face as students.
All active members must:
*Maintain 2.5 minimum required GPA
*Complete 15 mandatory study hours per week
*Meet with academic chair twice per quarter
*Attend Academic workshops

Community Service
National Philanthropy: Latino Literacy, TIJERAS Project "Cutting through to enhance education opportunities for Latinos"
Latina Youth Leadership Conference: Lambda Theta Nu Sorority Inc. organizes, facilitates, and sponsors this annual conference for about 300 junior and high school girls with the goals of increasing awareness of higher education, leadership skills development, self-esteem enhancement, A-G requierements workshops, financial aid workshops, positive decision making skills development, respect, and cultural pride.
We participate in at least 6 community services per year among them: AIDS/Revlon walk, Padres Contra Cancer, Clothes/Toy drive, College Fair, Dribble for the Cure.
The "Lambda Scholarship" is an annual scholarship we award to a graduating high school senior.

Lambda Culture
Stepping: In 1987 Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, first introduceded stepping to Lambda Theta Nu sorority Inc by inviting them to step on stage in a unity step. In 1989 Lambdas incorporated stepping with MACHETES to symbolize our culture and strength of Latina women.
Strolling is done by sisters moving in unison to music. Sisters stroll to showcase our organization and/or to compete in shows.
